“Joyful...makes me happy...positive energy” are words continually used to describe Lisa’s work. Her appealing use of colour is reminiscent of the great post-impressionists.

Lisa has studied, lived and painted in some of the most beautiful places around....from Newfoundland to British Columbia, from Maine to Florida, from England to the south of France. Now she finds daily inspiration in the rolling hills, skies and shores of Georgian Bay.

She has always loved the natural world whether it is a garden or a rocky shore and delights in interpreting these worlds in a colourful and loose way. This has led her to her more recent work where she explores the forms and colours that she has seen in a more layered and abstracted way.

Lisa works in oils, acrylics and mixed media on board, canvas and paper at her studio in the Creative Simcoe Street District of Collingwood, Ontario. Her studio is part of eight other artist’s studios in the historic Tremont Studio Building.
